I actually like thunderstorms.
We don't really have those. I miss them.
After the road work, I'd think you could sleep through anything ;)
We had a big storm Saturday night too. No thunder, but the wind and rain were enough to wake me up.
At my new townhouse, the lawn service starts mowing at 6:45 once a week even though the grass is so dry and brown there is nothing to mow. I want to complain but then I think, at least I don't have to cut it myself.
Look like there is no freedom from loud noise for you.
