Outages

Every damn time there’s even the least amount of wind…
 
No exaggeration here. I started working on this and bam, power goes out.

  1. Power disruption is so common here that most people, especially in the cities, have, what are called, UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supplies). They keep lights burning, fans running, and TVs and laptops working. But they don't support heavy load, so refrigerators, ACs, geysers, etc. don't work, unless we have a UPS that is more powerful.
