Help

It’s called cord-shaving. It’s good for some, not so good for others.
Bonus: she had it for two days before she decided she didn’t like it and got a new cable system.

  1. Try doing that long distance. I'm my family's go-to tech guy.
We have satellite, but it goes up every other month and I am considering dumping it.

  3. What little I watch, I watch by computer.

  4. I only watch TV because my husband has it on. If he's not here, I don't even turn it on.

  5. There are just too many choices these days. I find I decide I want to watch something, then scroll endlessly through the choices and don't find anything that fits my mood. So I end up watching nothing. Or something I've seen before because I know it's good.

  6. I thought it was cord cutting...

Just get her a Roku TV. I had no idea how easy it was to stream everything until I replaced my circa 2004 TV with a flat screen with Roku. I can now see how I could cord cut.

  7. Just tell her to go with Netflix. It's got enough stuff.
