April Goals

It’s that time again. I’m not sure if March went by really fast or if I was just really, really slow.

March Goals
1. Finish the rewrites.
Hey, I did this. Now I have a bunch more stuff to edit. :/

2. Start working on all the other notes I was given by my beta readers. Hopefully I won’t be panicking too much to do this.
I only got about halfway through this. There were a lot of corrections to make. My friends probably now think I don’t know how to write. They’re not wrong.

3. Update etymology page. It’s that time again.
At least I got this done. Not like it’s difficult!

Honestly, I did as much as I was able to. Mostly. There may have been one or two days where I blew everything off. So what about this month?

April Goals
1. Finish the notes from my beta readers.

2. Work on all the notes that I’ve made because of suggestions from my beta readers.

3. If I’m able to finish the first two notes, then I can start editing the short story I wrote last year.

That’s the plan, at any rate. Hopefully there won’t be anything huge that gets in my way.

Oh god, I jinxed myself, didn’t I?

What are you going to do this month?

  1. You accomplished almost everything last month - you can do those edits this month.

  2. Good luck with your goals. I hope you haven't jinxed yourself.

  3. This month I'm going to try to meditate myself into a state of ascendancy.

  4. You can do it! Look at how much you achieved in March. Why should April be any different?

  5. The huge thing that gets in the way will be the Mother Of All Hairballs courtesy of the cat.

  6. The point of beta readers is to make the writing better. I'm sure they don't think you can't write. They wouldn't beta read for you if they thought that.

For April, I'm doing the A to Z. And I really need to get back to working on my Etsy shop.

  7. My April goal is 'find time to write.'
My May goal is 'get the twins graduated from HS.'

My June goal is 'get drunk and celebrate not having any kids in public school.' LOL (Oh, and teach Son 1 to drive. I'll need alcohol for that, too. hahaha)
