Five More Minutes

There are some games that I just really need to avoid. Usually puzzle games.

  1. My wife and I play mind and puzzle games on our iPads. My favorite it Muddled. They are addictive.

  2. I get to playing Word Solitaire and next thing you know, I've gone through a time warp.

  3. Yes, I've been there. More than once and when I do it's often for a long time. I've gotten more regimented about such things, but I still find myself mindlessly caught up in Solitaire on my computer.

  5. This is why I started playing Candy Crush. The girl who got me into it explained how to get around it, but it was the fact that it was there that let me know this was the game for me...

In Candy Crush, you get five lives. If you fail to pass the level, you lose a life. That life will reset in a half hour. You lose five lives, you're locked out for 2 1/2 hours. (Unless someone has given you an extra life or you do that work around I mentioned.)

There's something great about hitting that lock out. I can't play "one more game". I'm done. For at least two hours. It's wonderful.
