My mom got a new
computer! Guess who has to set it up for her. And of course the instructions
were all in pictures because no one wants to have to translate anything.
Seriously, I
have absolutely no idea what they were trying to say. I figured it out, but not
from the damn pictures.
I like pictures, but they need to be supplemented by words for when the pictures make no sense. Clearly the instructions writers have never tried knitting patterns.
I'm not a very visual person so instructions that are just pictures without words never make any sense to me. I used to be horrible at helping the kids with their Lego because I never could follow the diagrams and bits would always end up on the wrong sides of things.
Pictures? Odd. I guess I haven't followed directions in a while. I just set up a new computer for me and just went through the motions.
