Words are weird.
It happens. There are a couple words that no matter how many times I use them, I still get them wrong.

Been there. I still remember the time I couldn't remember how to spell "of". Yes, "of". I was in 2nd grade at the time, but still, it rankles.
There are some words I just never get right first time... And they're pretty common words, too!
Very common! For me 'interesting' is one.
When I taught 3-5th grades, b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l was misspelled allll the time. Each week, I put it on the spelling words list. Dang it. You would be amazed how many students still missed it.
