If It’s Not One Thing, It’s Another

I… was in a dark place when I wrote this one. I blame the fact that it’s impossible to find a decently priced laptop that won’t start falling apart after a year of use.

In reality I actually managed to fix it, although who knows for how long? How I wish I could afford a really nice one that won’t break the second I take it out of the package. But those are dreams for someone with actual money.

  2. Now I feel really bad that my decade-old laptop just won't die.

  3. I think my laptop is starting to go. Maybe? It's hard to tell.
    It's all of two.

  4. QVC. I know, it sounds weird. They have a bunch of laptops. You can pay for them over six months. And they have some good deals on them. Check on Saturdays. I believe that's when it's on the TV. Otherwise, you can just check their website and order whenever. (My roommate clued me in to this. That's how I acquired my current laptop when my old one died last summer. So far, so good.)

  5. If your laptop is bleeding, you may want to get an exorcist. ;)

  6. Have you thought about renting one? That's what I do. You pay a monthly rental over 2 years, and at the end you can either trade in for a new model and keep renting, or pay about $50 and keep the old one. Or both...
