Desperation

The cricket problem still hasn’t let up. They’re quiet one night and then the next night it’s like a whole family of them has moved in. I’m starting to think I’ll have to resort to drastic measures…

You know how I feel about the spiders. But desperate times call for desperate measures.

  1. At least when the spiders take over your house instead, it will be quiet.

  2. You did not read enough books about good bugs when you were a kid, did you?

  5. And now you understand why I appreciate spiders. And do my best not to kill them.

  6. When my girls had lizards as pets, we had to buy boxes of live crickets to feed them. Every time I did this, I couldn't believe I was actually paying for crickets. :/

  8. I think I prefer the crickets, noise and all! Where we go on holiday over the summer, the cicadas are so loud in places you almost need earmuffs, so I sympathize. Although cicadas only stay noisy after a certain temperature, so when it cools off in the evening, so do they. Not sure if crickets do that...
