If my mom kept her phone with her, it would also be a lot
easier to track her down when she disappears on me, which she does frequently
when we’re out shopping together.
I imagine she'd be just like me, though. I may have my phone with me, but I never hear it. If someone is trying to reach me in a store, I won't see it until I'm out of the store.
