It Does Now

Every year I get huge spider webs outside my house, and there’s usually a huge spider to go along with them.
Frankly, it’s a justified fear.

  1. Don't worry, those spiders tend to stay outdoors. They're just decorating someone else's house.

  2. Nuke 'em from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

  3. We used to get a lot f the pretty yellow and black web-weavers, but they are so scarce anymore. Never come indoors though. Once in a great while we'll get a wolf spider and those suckers are huge. You wouldn't want those running across you at night.

  4. I read somewhere that everyone swallows at least six spiders while sleeping in the course of their life. Makes you never want to go to bed...

  5. It's tarantula mating season here...

  6. We get all the webs here, too. I noticed them way early this year, too. I haven't run into any, but that's mostly because I haven't been walking around much.

  7. Haven't seen many spiders inside this year. I grew up in an old, old farmhouse and never went to bed a single night without throwing back the blankets and checking. Found a spider a disturbing number of times.
