What a mess this month was. As anyone who follows me on twitter is aware, I got sick after Thanksgiving. Boy, did that suck. Anyway, back to the goals.
1. Keep searching for beta readers.
At least this wasn’t affected by me being sick. Still could use more.
2. Get up to 40K on my new WIP (already at about 18K, so this is certainly possible).
I wasn’t able to meet this goal. I was on track until I got sick. I had to use all my energy to do the stuff I had to do instead of the stuff I wanted to do. It was such a bummer.
3. <shudder> Thanksgiving.
Ugh, I’m so glad this is done.
And that’s it for November. What about December?
1. Hopefully get beyond 50K in the WIP.
2. Update my etymology page before it gets out of hand.
3. Ugh, now we have Christmas.
So that’s what I’m planning for the last month of 2018. What are you going to do? Any holiday/end of the year plans?
I really wish you got to enjoy holidays more.ReplyDelete
The way I'm seeing it, any holiday that doesn't have cake is to be avoided?ReplyDelete
How much hugjitsu did you have to employ?
As a kid, that weekend after Thanksgiving was always sick time. I can't tell you why I got sick, only that I did. Every year.ReplyDelete
Glad you're feeling better. Sorry you're not looking forward to family time.
Glad you're feeling better. It must be a bummer to have two holidays that require family time so close together when you don't enjoy spending time with the family.ReplyDelete
I feel the same this year about the holidays.ReplyDelete
I'll be happy once December 27th rolls around and we're past HappyBloodyHappyMas.ReplyDelete
Now that you're feeling better, you can plow forward and hit that word count.ReplyDelete
Last year, I was able to go home for a visit the weekend before Christmas, and it was very nice because I hadn't seen my family at Christmas since I moved. Which is probably a big part of why it was very nice. Before the move, I was very much a "Ugh. Now we have Christmas" person too.ReplyDelete
Best of luck with your December goals!
Thanksgiving slowed down my word production too but I made it up last week. The holidays are so much fun at our house especially now that we have a little one again to run around with all that childhood joy and delight.ReplyDelete
My productivity typically slows down during the holidays. I can't believe it's already December. Here's to all of us crushing it in 2019. Happy Holidays!ReplyDelete
Sorry you got sick. You sound like me. I'm having trouble getting into the spirit this year. January can't come fast enough.ReplyDelete
Good luck with your goals.
hopefully, you could achieve the goals.ReplyDelete
have a great day
