Great art work. Made me giggle. Great way to start the weekend :) Yes, I think you should leave the windows out of the equation :) It'll just let the cold in. Have a lovely weekend.
Ha! This was me the other day when I thought a snowy, icy day would be a great day to buckle down and get a few hours of work done. Phone calls. Doorbell ringing for wet package delivery. Plea from my daughter, "Mom, will you please risk our lives driving through this horrible mess so I can see my boyfriend?" (Can't throw her out the window.)
My husband can't 'not answer' his phone. He complains about it interrupting him and I tell him to let it go. He just can't. I ignore the phone all the time but I don't throw it out the window.
Sometimes I leave my phone in another room. I'll also unplug the internet. I'm getting better at fending off distractions, but I still fall into their trap.

ReplyDeleteTry a notebook and pen. It shouldn't interrupt you.
ReplyDeleteParticularly considering the price of replacing windows!
ReplyDelete"The telephone has no Constitutional right to be answered. If you ignore it, it'll go away." (And if you put it on silent, it won't even bother you.)
ReplyDeleteBet you can't name the movie that quote it from.

ReplyDeleteEspecially if there's snow outside.
ReplyDeleteIt's dead easy to fix. Just turn off all this stuff for limited time and turn on them for short break.
