I don't blame you. I would have freaked out too. My cat is good at catching and eating spiders, but even she can't get one that's on the ceiling. (Although she will watch it for a very long time and occasionally make ambitious leaps into the air.)
There's a large & scary spider on my porch, but she only hangs out in her web at night. Which is nice during the day, but not so nice when I want to go outside after dark. I wish she would eat more mosquitoes while she's freaking me out.
I think I'm the only person in the world who isn't freaked out about spiders. If a big one sneaks up on me, that's one thing, but most of the time I don't have an issue. Weird, I know.
That's why I catch and release them outside the moment I see them.

I like spiders. It's a Charlotte thing.
ReplyDeleteThat and they eat mosquitoes.
I have a great spider moment in "What Time Is the Tea Kettle?"

ReplyDeleteSo I take it the giant spider in the Harry Potter books is not your cup of tea?
