It’s that time of year again. As always, I will be (mostly) offline for the week of my birthday, so from about August 23rd to the 30th. I plan to spend the entire time eating cake and playing video games, or what I like to call “vacation”.

I’m turning twenty nine this year, and if my mom is any indication, that’s as old as I’m ever going to get. She herself is only twenty nine, which is miraculous since she is now younger than all three of her children. I’m not sure if it’s some kind of time stasis or what, but I do know that I’m not allowed to question her about it. Ever.
So! If anyone has anything they want to promote or feels like giving me a guest post, please, let me know. Have a great August!
Good to know you'll be twenty-nine forever. I tried that, but a couple more decades still caught me.

ReplyDeleteCake is a good way to celebrate however many 29th birthdays one has.
ReplyDeleteI think I would've stayed frozen at about age 37. I was in the best shape of my life then.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday! I'd have stayed 29 too, if I could have… My grandfather always said he was 21 and getting younger every day. When I was little, I worried that he'd get to zero and disappear.
ReplyDeleteMy father decided that he was remaining at 38 for a while. Which was funny as he insisted on that about the time that I was 35.

Now I just want cake. And to back it up a few years and put myself in stasis at 29.
ReplyDeleteStaying home and doing what one likes to do is a great vacation. I would probably pick a year from my early thirties. My values solidified at that time. Also, people tell me I look younger than I am.
