I shop often enough that I don't need carts. Usually it's an item or two, never enough to need more than a basket.
Interesting that you call them carriages. I've never heard that before. We call them trolleys here. I hate the big ones because I'm short and I find I can't reach everything when I get to the checkout without practically diving into the darn thing.
