people were all like, “We should have bunkers to hide away in!”? We should do
that again. Except not because of Y2K. Just… just in general.
There are many aspects of today's world that are a blessing, making our lives unimaginably easier. But as if to compensate, there are many aspects that are truly worrying. That analogy of Y2K is spot on. One only hopes it will all end the way Y2K scare did.
Y2K seems so far away now...
ReplyDeleteThere are aspects that are depressing, but I still see hope. Plus I know how it ends, so it will be all right.

And the news just keeps getting worse...
ReplyDeleteDo bunkers help?
ReplyDeleteIt certainly feels that way, doesn't it? Sigh.
ReplyDeleteSeems like that was just yesterday when people were thinking the power grid might go down. LOL
ReplyDeleteI don't think the bunkers will help much, unless they can filter out the tweets of Ye Old Orange Madman.
