How about some Adventures in the Life of a Cat Owner?
She’s the second cat I’ve had that does this. I don’t know
what’s so difficult about it. You do a poop, then you bury it. Most cats have this
down. Why don’t mine?
My cat does that. He has a little house for his pooping (because his favorite thing before he had walls was to throw the litter all over the bathroom), and he will go in there and scratch the walls for 10 minutes after he finishes. Or, sometimes, the toilet.
Maybe I've spent too long working on my MG science fiction adventure, but my first thought is that she comes from a higher dimension and she still gets our 3 dimensions confused.
I've never used a litter box for my cats except when they were kittens and too small to go outside, so I don't have an answer for that one.... But I did have a cat who the vet diagnosed as being clinically stupid. I have to say I wondered when it took his sister less than a day to figure out the cat door, but about 3 weeks for him to work it.
If she's trying to claw her way to China, she's going the wrong direction...
ReplyDeleteThere's always one cat who just can't figure it out.
ReplyDeleteShe's doing it to annoy her staff.
ReplyDeleteAre you trying to figure out why a cat does something? Very ambitious.

ReplyDeleteWhat Dianne said. Yeah, that's it.
ReplyDeleteWhy do cats? Who knows?
As a cat owner, I can attest to this as well. It's like they have no sense of poop-direction LOL.
