I read an article saying (okay, if you want to get technical
reading) that an apple a day may not
keep the doctor away, but it certainly lowers cholesterol. And helps fight heart
disease. And can help you lose weight. Now if only I had some idea of where to find
some apples…
Oh, look. There’s a bowl of apples from the tree in the backyard.
And a bigger bowl.
And a basket.
Nope. No idea.
I eat an apple almost every day.
ReplyDeleteYou can send some here.
ReplyDeleteI'll trade you for some tomatoes.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you've got plenty in stock!
ReplyDeleteWe always had apples around the house when I was growing up. My uncle and aunt, and now their son, had the orchard up and running.
I miss all the apple trees we had when I was growing up. Having to pay for fruit and veggies when I moved out on my own was a shock.
ReplyDeleteThe fun of fruit trees. Are you overwhelmed with them?
ReplyDeleteLucky you! We planted an apple tree in our back yard, but we never get any apples from it. They get pecked to bits by birds before they ripen. :(
ReplyDeleteI do like apples, but I buy them and forget to eat them. Then they get mussy. But they do taste good when they aren't mushy!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have a very happy and healthy apple tree.
