I think I put more effort into this than anything else this week.

The Time Approaches

What time? you ask. Why, my birthday, of course. In less than a month. How could you not know that? Really!

Anyway, as usual around my birthday, I take some time off from writing and blogging and trying to be a useful part of society in general. And also as usual, I’d like to know if anyone is willing to give me a guest post to enable my decent into laziness. I really hope someone does, because otherwise you’re going to get stuck with five minute stick figure comics. And the ones I usually post take a half hour to do, so just think about how awful they’re going to be.

Think about it.

Wanted: Guest Posts

It’s that time of year again!

Not big enough.

That magical, special time when we celebrate the birth of *me* on August 26^th, when I’ll be the ancient, decrepit age of twenty seven. Anyway, as usual, and I mean as I’ve done for the past two years, I’m going to take a blogging vacation around that time, so if anyone has something to promote or an idea to share or feels like doing me a solid, please let me know. Also, two weeks after that is approaching my blogiversary, so I’m going to be totally lazy and do reposts for then. Yes, I’ll be celebrating my blog by not doing anything to it : ).

So again, if you feel like doing a guest post for me, shoot me an email. If you don’t…don’t do anything, I guess. But be safe when you’re celebrating my birthday. I know it’s the happiest day of the year, but don’t go overboard.

Tomorrow is my birthday. I will be (gasp) 26. So I’m going to turn the blog over to whoever wants it for the next week while I party my nose clean off my face engorge on cake and totally not do anything illegal.

Guest Posts Wanted

Well, my birthday is in a month. Ish. It’s in exactly four weeks and one day but since months are more than twenty eight days long, it’s not actually on the twenty ninth but the twenty sixth. Someone should really fix that. God? Calendar makers? One of those.

Anyway, since I want to take the week after said birthday off from blogging, I’d like to ask if anyone wants to take over my blog for a day. You can talk about pretty much whatever you want and make it as long or as short as you want. Got a book to promote? Want to reach a slightly different audience? Yo.

A Day of Fanfare and Jubilation

This is an open call for guest posts for the last full week in August. For what reason, pray tell? Because that Friday, exactly one month from today (because months don’t come in regular intervals…a matter for another post) is the glorious day of jubilation known as my BIRTHDAY (caps required). So if you’re interested in reaching a slightly different audience of writers or maybe have something you want to promote, shoot me an email.

It might sound horrendous, but I’m not doing a giveaway for my birthday. The shame! But I do have a reason! My blogiversary is coming up in less than three weeks, so it seems kind of silly to have one contest right after another. Don’t worry. It will be AWESOME.
