Every Time

Anyone else get their best ideas while falling asleep? It can be a problem.
Not exaggerating even a little.

  1. Notebook by bed. Or tell Siri.

I've walked into a room and forgotten what I went in to get for years now.

  2. There's actually a brain reason that happens, though I can't remember what it's called. Your brain is kind of locational and will "box up" thoughts when you leave a place and "unbox" them when you come back to it.

  3. Isn't that just a nuisance when it happens?

  4. You need a notebook next to your bed. Or a recorder to give yourself a quick reminder. Of course, that's really hard to do when you're just falling asleep. Perhaps you should lie in bed when it's computer time and see if you can chase it...

  5. I had that the other night with a scene and I did the smart thing and wrote it down.
