Bombogenesis

Isn’t that a cool word? That’s what they were calling the big storm from a couple of weeks ago. The name literally means “generation of bombs”, but I don’t think it was the worst storm we’ve ever had. Still, it had its moments.
I forgot. This is New England and the weather here operates on cartoon logic.

  1. Dumb name. It was just many storms colliding. Of course, they could've called it The Day After Tomorrow storm, which would've been dumber.
Our area did shut down for a while. We're just not prepared to handle snow and ice. That one plow truck doesn't move that fast.

  2. I've also heard the term hypothermageddon used about the deep freeze we had recently.

  3. We went from 0 degrees one morning to 70 degrees a couple days later, so our weather changes pretty darn fast, too.

  4. Then your time frame should be from 7:30 to 7:31.

  5. It was a weird storm. But the worst was the cold and wind.

  6. I'm glad you made it through. Hopefully the worst of the winter is over? (*quietly types while wearing shorts in winter...*)

  7. Weather has been weird recently. It was almost 40 and raining here in Upper Michigan. Then it dropped down to twenty and now everything is covered in ice.
