My mom is usually in charge of the day before Thanksgiving baking, but for the first time that I remember, she has to work that day. So obviously she expects me to come over and do it, but I’m not sure if that’s a good idea…
I should not be put in charge of sweets.
Better bake at least a dozen...
ReplyDeleteAt some point, you do become immobile, though, right?
ReplyDeleteOf course, I suppose that means anything in the oven at that point would burn.
Tell her just to use her imagination for all the desserts. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou always make a double batch. Half for them, half for you. And why do you have to "come over"? Can't you do the baking at your house?
ReplyDeleteAn incident, huh? Was it all tasty?
ReplyDeleteHa, ha! This would happen if we put our German exchange student in charge of the sweets. (Or even if we left her alone with them.)
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a good story after. I'll be doing all the baking here for the big day!
ReplyDeleteThat's why you have to do a practice batch the day before...
