Pomegranate

Occasionally my mom wants me to try new things with her. I wouldn’t call it a waste of time, but… Well, maybe I would.
I’m not an adventurous eater at all, and fruit is probably the only food type I would try an unusual variety of. And I probably wouldn’t because this is usually the result.

  1. I don't think I've ever had one either. Sounds disappointing.

  2. Pomegranates are great, but you have to learn how to do it.
Most people do not "eat" the seeds. You put a handful (or half a handful) in your mouth and sort of chew them to pop them open and suck the juice out, then you spit put the actual seed parts (kind of the opposite of sunflower seeds). They are quite good, actually, but possibly not as good as the amount of work they take.

  3. They were a bit much for me. I can't recall if they were too sweet or too bitter, but I wasn't fond of the taste. Someone who is familiar with them gave me a bit of hers, so that's how I tried it. Meh.
