Thankfully, it
didn’t last long this time. It’s just that in the past, it’s taken days for
them to fix the power, and that’s not a good thing in the middle of summer. Or
winter, knock on wood that doesn’t happen again.
Always happens when you need power the most. But of course, that's why it goes out. Everyone is running their AC and using too much power for the grid to handle it.
Glad you got your power back quickly. Just Monday I had the same thing happen, although I only noticed the power had gone off when the fountain outside stopped. I didn't notice my dryer stopping, my microwave stopping, or my TV turning off.
