It's that time of year again. Where I have to post stick figure comics because I'm being forced to spend time with my (ugh!) family. This year, since I had no other ideas, I decided to pontificate on the reasons I hated high school so much...
Reason #1: The Mid-Winter Fire Drills
Reason #2: The Guidance Counselors
Reason #3: The Teachers
Reason #4: The Stupid Logic
Reason #5: Did I mention the teachers?
I'm so glad I didn't go to a normal school.
ReplyDeleteHuh. That sounds suspiciously like what I hear from my daughter.
ReplyDeleteWhich ticks me off, since I work in the same district as her teachers, get paid on the same salary scale, and expect my co-workers to be as fair and dedicated as I am!
Yeah. I'm pretty much glad to be out of the "system." :)
ReplyDeleteYou weren't allowed to bring your coat to class?
ReplyDeleteThen again, I went to a school where every classroom led outside, so on cold days, there was no way we weren't wearing jackets. And don't even get me started on umbrellas.
"she threatened me or something...." That speaks volumes!
ReplyDeleteI lucked out. I had been expecting to go see my sister a couple of days after Christmas- and not looking forward to it at all- the previous day she told my father over the phone that I wasn't welcome there. So I spent the day in a museum instead and thoroughly enjoyed it.
